He studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin and graduated as a qualified sound engineer. During his studies he was awarded several first prizes in international competitions. From 2005 to 2011 he studied conducting at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Dresden with Hans-Christoph Rademann (Chorus) and with Ekkehard Klemm and Christian Kluttig (Orchester). He deepened his artistic skills in master classes with The Hilliard Ensemble, the Rundfunkchor Berlin (Simon Halsey and Grete Pederson) and at the Stuttgart Bach Week (Helmuth Rilling).<\/p>\n<p>In September 2015 he founded the youth chamber choir &#8220;Junges Consortium Berlin&#8221;, which won three gold medals at the Grand Prix of Nations in February 2017. She has received numerous prizes and awards for her artistic work.<\/p>\n<p>She completed her further artistic education and concert exams at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik &#8220;Hanns Eisler&#8221; as well as with KS Brigitte Fassbaender and KS Inge Borkh. She sang numerous roles in her field and gave concerts and recitals in Germany, Austria, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Serbia, etc.<\/p>\n<p>1998-2007 she taught singing and teaching practice at the HfM &#8220;Hanns Eisler&#8221; Berlin. Since 2006 she has been the artistic director of the Institute for Singing and Breathing Training in Berlin. She teaches as a guest professor at the Music Academy in Vilnius\/Lithuania, at the Latvian Music Academy J\u0101zeps V\u012btols in Riga, at the Conservatory of Music in Maribor and Ljubljana\/Slovenia and as a juror at international master classes and singing competitions worldwide. Many of her students are now successful opera singers on international stages (e.g. Staatsoper Berlin, Bolschoi-Theater Moscow, Komische Oper Berlin, etc.).<br \/>\nSince 2007 she has been a vocal lecturer and since 2017 the artistic director of the International Opera Course Opera Oder-Spree.<br \/>\nIn November 2015 she was engaged at the State Opera as voice teacher of the Children&#8217;s Choir under the direction of Vinzenz Weissenburger.<br \/>\nShe continues her successful collaboration with the conductor Vinzenz Weissenburger as voice coach in the Youth Chamber Choir &#8220;Junges Consortium Berlin&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 she was engaged as vocal coach for the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle. He is currently studying choir conducting for his Master&#8217;s degree at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler with Justin Doyle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to his studies, he deepened his artistic skills in a master class with Simon Halsey (choral conducting). As a scholar he received his first conducting lessons as well as a comprehensive music theory and pianistic education.<\/p>\n<p>Nils Jensen studied choral and orchestral conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Subsequently, he received important artistic impulses through private lessons with William Spaulding. Nach seinem Bachelor in Schulmusik wechselte er f\u00fcr den Master an die Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik \u201eHanns Eisler\u201c Berlin, um in der Klasse von Prof. Tobias Walenciak zu studieren. Seit November 2024 leitet er den Carl-von-Ossietzky-Chor Berlin und seit September 2025 das Junge Consortium Berlin, der renommierte Jugendkammerchor der Musikschule City West, dessen langj\u00e4hriger Assistent er bis dahin war. Noch w\u00e4hrend der Studienzeit wurde er mit mehreren ersten Preisen bei internationalen Wettbewerben ausgezeichnet. Als Stipendiat erhielt er ersten Dirigierunterricht sowie eine umfassende musiktheoretische- und pianistische Ausbildung.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Das Studium der Chor- und Orchesterleitung nahm Nils Jensen an der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien auf. Anschlie\u00dfend konnte er durch Privatunterricht bei William Spaulding wichtige k\u00fcnstlerische Impulse erhalten. He studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin and graduated as a qualified sound engineer. During his studies he was awarded several first prizes in international competitions. From 2005 to 2011 he studied conducting at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Dresden with Hans-Christoph Rademann (Chorus) and with Ekkehard Klemm and Christian Kluttig (Orchester). He deepened his artistic skills in master classes with The Hilliard Ensemble, the Rundfunkchor Berlin (Simon Halsey and Grete Pederson) and at the Stuttgart Bach Week (Helmuth Rilling).\r\n\r\nIn September 2015 he founded the youth chamber choir \"Junges Consortium Berlin\", which won three gold medals at the Grand Prix of Nations in February 2017. She has received numerous prizes and awards for her artistic work.\r\n\r\nShe completed her further artistic education and concert exams at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik \"Hanns Eisler\" as well as with KS Brigitte Fassbaender and KS Inge Borkh. She sang numerous roles in her field and gave concerts and recitals in Germany, Austria, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Serbia, etc.\r\n\r\n1998-2007 she taught singing and teaching practice at the HfM \"Hanns Eisler\" Berlin. Since 2006 she has been the artistic director of the Institute for Singing and Breathing Training in Berlin. She teaches as a guest professor at the Music Academy in Vilnius\/Lithuania, at the Latvian Music Academy J\u0101zeps V\u012btols in Riga, at the Conservatory of Music in Maribor and Ljubljana\/Slovenia and as a juror at international master classes and singing competitions worldwide. Many of her students are now successful opera singers on international stages (e.g. Staatsoper Berlin, Bolschoi-Theater Moscow, Komische Oper Berlin, etc.).\r\nSince 2007 she has been a vocal lecturer and since 2017 the artistic director of the International Opera Course Opera Oder-Spree.\r\nIn November 2015 she was engaged at the State Opera as voice teacher of the Children's Choir under the direction of Vinzenz Weissenburger.\r\nShe continues her successful collaboration with the conductor Vinzenz Weissenburger as voice coach in the Youth Chamber Choir \"Junges Consortium Berlin\".\r\n\r\nIn 2017 she was engaged as vocal coach for the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle. He is currently studying choir conducting for his Master's degree at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler with Justin Doyle.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to his studies, he deepened his artistic skills in a master class with Simon Halsey (choral conducting). As a scholar he received his first conducting lessons as well as a comprehensive music theory and pianistic education.\r\n\r\nNils Jensen studied choral and orchestral conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Subsequently, he received important artistic impulses through private lessons with William Spaulding.
